Despite facing a hamstring tear approximately three weeks before this achievement, Nabil persevered with determination. Notably, this injury proved to be of low grade, and Nabil conquered the challenge, setting a new personal record. During the attempt, he utilized only a lifting belt, knee sleeves, and wrist wraps, emphasizing the raw nature of the accomplishment.
Expressing his satisfaction, Nabil revealed his desire to achieve this milestone before the year’s end. Furthermore, he hinted at aiming for an even more substantial goal—a 300-kilogram squat in the future. This determination showcases his dedication to continuous improvement and reaching new heights in the powerlifting realm.

Nabil Lahlou’s strength is prominently displayed in his deadlifts, where he effortlessly handles monstrous weights. Although his future goals remain uncertain, his recent progress extends beyond squats. Just five days prior to the squat PR, he also set a bench press PR of 345 pounds (156.5 kilograms), highlighting his well-rounded prowess in different powerlifting events.
