Jeremy Buendia Discusses 2024 Off-Season Bulking and Opts Out of Arnold Classic

“It’s been a minimal struggle the past week getting back in the rhythm of things and seeing how my body looks. My game plan is get back into starting my off-season, my bulk at the end of February or beginning of March and I plan on getting on stage probably around August and maybe early September” Buendia said.
“I want to win a show before I get back on the Olympia stage. There’s a lot of ground to catch up, but like I said, there’s not that much ground to catch up.”
Additionally, Buendia explains his choice to forgo the Arnold Classic, emphasizing a focus on health and delivering peak performance at the Olympia stage.
“A lot of these guys haven’t really taken a break a lot of them are still doing the Arnold. They haven’t really taken much of a break after Olympia because they can’t.”
“After Olympia, it doesn’t really allow you any time to rest and recover before you got to start prepping again. Even if you do the Arnold and don’t do the Olympia, it’s like the middle of your off-season.”
“That’s the reason why I’ve never done it, it’s a difficult time of the year when you’re trying to bring your best to Olympia and when you’re trying to prioritize your health as well.”
Furthermore, Jeremy Buendia stays active during the off-season, excelling in the gym and emphasizing nutrition. Also, his focus for 2024 is to bring his A-game and aim to upset the newly crowned champ, Ryan Terry.
