Victoria Long Declared Retirement From Strongwoman
Indeed, Victoria Long’s last professional appearance didn’t unfold as she envisioned, marking an unexpected conclusion to her illustrious career.
“I definitely pictured the last contest of my strongwoman career going much differently…..but here we are. 🤷🏻♀️
To say that I’m proud of the women that I shared the stage with this past weekend is a severe understatement. These women embody what it means to be WARRIORS. We’ve shared many of the same struggles, we’ve sacrificed, and we’ve been continually subject to some of the harshest comments and opinions. In spite of it all…..we STILL SHOW UP! We realize that the inspiration and encouragement we give to others far outweighs the “dark days” we experience.
I’ve had some amazing experiences and made some life long friends along the way. I’ve been a part of something that only a small percentage of people will experience.
Ladies, from the bottom of my heart…..THANK YOU!!
Continue to push the limits and take this sport to the next level!”
