Similar to Victoria Long, Boudreault sustained his injury during the deadlift event. However, his occurred during the first attempt, which was expected to be manageable for him. Unfortunately, he injured his Lat muscle, a setback not uncommon among elite Strongmen.

Unlike Long’s injury, Boudreault’s initially appeared less severe. Nonetheless, he was unable to complete his remaining attempts, which ultimately affected his participation in the subsequent event, the Timber Carry. As Boudreault faces a period of recovery, hopes are high for his swift return, especially with significant competitions looming ahead.
