In a thrilling display of strength and athleticism, Sumer Johnson and Andrew Clayton emerged victorious as the strongwoman and strongman champions of the 2023 Clash on the Coast. Furthermore, the three-day event took place on March 24-26 in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and featured twelve athletes in each division.
Additionally, Sumer Johnson claimed her victory in the U82KG strongwoman division by four points over runner-up Jodi Kennedy, with Jessica Mitchell rounding out the podium in third place. Moreover, on the men’s side, Andrew Clayton won by a slim half-point over Dan Hughes, while Matt McKeegan came in third place.
