During the squat with wraps event, Rudy skillfully employed a lifting belt, knee wraps, and wrist wraps for a 217.5-kilogram (479.5-pound) squat attempt. Notably, he had already flawlessly lifted the same weight in training days earlier, surpassing his previous Squat IPL Masters World Record of 210 kg (451.9 lb).
In the deadlift event, Rudy claimed another World Record, pulling a hefty 235 kilograms (518 pounds) using only a lifting belt. This raw lift, executed with a sumo stance and mixed grip, exceeded his earlier Deadlift IPL Masters World Record of 233 kg (513.7 lb).
