Chuck ‘Kali Muscle’ Kirkendall, once an aspiring bodybuilder, now vehemently opposes the sport. In a recent YouTube video, Kali Muscle elaborates on why competitive bodybuilding is ‘not of God,’ describing its practices as ‘demonic’ and ‘Evil.’
Throughout the history of bodybuilding, performance-enhancing drugs have been a significant factor in the sport, for better or worse. Various bodybuilders from different eras have addressed the sensitive topic, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, who warned years ago about the dangerous direction of the Men’s Open division.
Although Kali Muscle briefly pursued bodybuilding, he ultimately withdrew. Complicating matters, Muscle experienced a near-fatal heart attack in 2021. Despite the ordeal, Muscle persisted and now advocates against steroid use, which he believes was the cause of his cardiovascular issues.

“I want to say this, if you’re a bodybuilder, you are not of god bro. Competitive bodybuilders is against what god ordered.”
Kali Muscle revisited comments from a prior video where a doctor critiqued the ingredients of a protein drink, deeming them unhealthy. The doctor’s support for unnatural, lab-created ingredients further bolstered Kali’s assertion that people are being misled and exhibiting ‘demonic’ behavior.
“I was on TikTok and I seen in my comment section, this one supposedly doctor, just she got all day in the comments, commenting with people. She got the nerve on the milk protein [Core Power protein drinks]. She’s got the nerve to say it’s good.”
“She says cellulose, that’s from a tree and it’s to preserve, and no it’s nothing wrong with it. Bro, what she is putting out there is just demonic bro. She acting like well this product they made in a lab is just fine.”
Kali Muscle cited bodybuilder and fitness influencer Joey Swoll, who had echoed the doctor’s concerns in a comment on the video. Kali Muscle contends that the endorsement of selling ‘poisons’ is contributing to the premature deaths of many individuals.
“You had Joey Swoll, I ain’t never talked to this motherfucker in my life. We walked past each other at the Fix Expo, looked at each other, didn’t give a nod, nothing. I knew he never liked me. He on there, ‘That’s right, somebody stand up and giving scientifical facts,’ to poison?
“Bro, y’all got it — I see why we dying young. The mindset the mind state of that, thinking that some motherfucking thing made in a lab and you ingest it in your body and you’re body doesn’t know what it is and it’s good for you because they say it.”
“She is ignoring sucralose, she is ignoring all the other bad shit I didn’t name in the product and what she is ignoring mostly, it’s made in a lab! It’s not for humans. If it’s made in a lab, it’s not of god, bro” Kali Muscle said.

Muscle asserts that competitive bodybuilding opposes ‘what God ordered,’ indicating a misalignment with divine principles.
“All this shit of the devil. I want to say this, if you’re a bodybuilder you are not of god bro. Competitive bodybuilders is against what god ordered.
Even me, when I was doing it, I knew in my soul and spirit it wasn’t the right thing to do. That’s why I didn’t pursue it when I could’ve went Pro.”
Continuing his critique, he directed his attention towards IFBB Pros, insinuating that only the devil would advocate for injecting drugs into their bodies. He emphasized that he would never permit his children to pursue their own bodybuilding endeavors.
“I got off of everything. That’s how I was able to have my twins. If you a bodybuilder, then you not of god. All of y’all, God, titles IFBB Pro you got guys, you’re a lie, you’re the devil. Only the devil going to tell you to pump drugs into your body. Simple as that.”
“Only the devil going to have you eating poison and promoting it to kids. Like, y’all that got kids, Shaun Clarida, are you going to tell your kid to body-build and pour steroids into their body? If you do, you’re a piece of shit, simple as that. I never wanted my quites to touch any of that poison.”

Finally, Kali Muscle addressed a recent study on intermittent fasting, indicating potential concerns about its impact on heart health.
“They got a new study out saying intermittent fasting is bad for your heart. You should eat every eight hours. And probably what they tell you to go buy at they grocery stores too.”
“It’s stupid bro, like why you want to engorge people with your poison? It makes my soul and spirt just cringe man.”
Before concluding, Kali Muscle emphasized that food in America has turned toxic.
“People really think food is the answer. The body heals itself. If you’re putting in America’s poisonous food, your body won’t heal, it’s like you’re on medication.”
This isn’t the initial occasion when Kali Muscle has sounded the alarm about the perils of bodybuilding. Recently, he cited Open stars William Bonac and Andrew Jacked as examples, noting their difficulty breathing as a result of the immense size required to compete at the top level.
Whether bodybuilding is inherently ‘demonic’ is subject to individual interpretation, but Kali Muscle firmly believes that performance-enhancing drugs, dietary habits, and supplements have escalated beyond reasonable limits. He continues to vocally oppose bodybuilding and anything originating from a laboratory.
