Sam Sulek Reveals His Simple Protein Pre-Workout Breakfast Meal
Quick Breakdown:
- Six whole eggs seasoned with salt and pepper
- Two cups of milk
- Two servings of cereal (Mini Wheats)
- Steak
“I’m thinking just six whole eggs. Usually, I probably go for maybe eight or nine or ten even, but since I’m going to have some cereal too. If I do six eggs, that’s going to be about 36 grams of protein, and two cups of milk that will put me right at 50. Plus some steak, a very well. Yeah, that’s about right [100-gram protein breakfast].”
“The steak is going to say how much it weighs everybody in their right mind knows an egg is six grams of protein and five grams of fat. You can’t really guess with, what am I going to sit here and count each mini wheat? That’s crazy.”
Since there was no salsa available in Fouad Abiad’s ‘meathead fridge,’ Sulek decided to season his eggs with just salt and pepper.
“Let’s just chow down. We got back later in a couple of hours so I’m sure that the 80 grams of carbs plus the 24 from the milk, so about 100 in this breakfast is going to get burned off on whatever lat pulldowns and rows and pull overs we end up doing.”
