Bodybuilding Community Mourns as Guy Del Corso passed away, Esteemed Coach and Judge
Del Corso’s family confirmed the sad news of his passing through a statement shared via Instagram, as reported by timesnownews.com.
“We’re saddened to announce our father Guy has passed away peacefully today around 7 am. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed terribly. It’s hard to believe this is real. Thank you guys for praying so hard. You guys know my dad would love that! Please know he loved each and every one of you.
He truly did. It’s amazing to know there are so many great people out there. We are so thankful for everyone. We will keep everyone up to date on arrangements. We do ask you to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to grieve the loss. The greatest Guy we’ll ever know.”
Earlier in the month, Del Corso suffered a stroke. On February 3, 2024, his family provided an update on his health.
“As most of you already know, our dad, Guy, had a stroke on Monday morning. It has affected his ability to talk and move the right side of his body. He has little movement on his left side and we are praying for his ability to swallow. We will update as we progress,” the statement shared.
