Event 1 — Log Lift
Firstly, in the opening event of the 2024 U90KG England’s Strongest Man competition, athletes tackled a Log Lift for reps, with options ranging from 90 kg (198.4 lb) to 130 kg (286.6 lb). Notably, a single rep with the heaviest log outranked any number of reps with lighter ones.

Event 3 — Farmer’s Walk
Thirdly, despite the toll taken on competitors’ grip strength by the deadlifts in the second event, they faced the Farmer’s Walk challenge in the third event. Also, carrying two 120-kilogram (264.6-pound) implements, athletes aimed to cover the maximum distance within a 75-second time limit, with the option to drop and pick up the implements.
