The 2023 Fitness International Title Goes to Ariel Khadr
Khadr Wins the 2023 Arnold Sports Festival Fitness International for Second Year in a Row in Columbus, OH.
The 2023 Arnold Sports Festival (ASF) held in Columbus, OH, is known for being home to the second-most prestigious bodybuilding titles outside the Olympia weekend. Among the competitions held during the ASF is the Fitness International, which showcases elite bodybuilders in the Fitness division competing against each other in posing and routines for the judges.
At the 2023 Fitness International, defending champion Ariel Khadr aimed to retain the crown she won at the contest in 2022. However, she faced tough competition from a strong field that included Jaclyn Baker, who had finished ahead of Khadr at the 2022 Olympia.
Khadr overcame the competition to claim victory in Columbus, becoming the seventh multi-time Fitness International champion. Below are the complete results:
The results for the 2023 Fitness International competition are as follows:
-
- Ariel Khadr
- Jaclyn Baker
- Michelle Fredua-Mensah
- Allison Kramer
- Tamara Vahn
- Tiffany Chandler
The Fitness International competition uses the same scoring system as other professional bodybuilding shows, including the Olympia. Competitors earn one-third of their scores during posing and comparisons and two-thirds of their scores during individual routines.
In the pre-judging posing routines, it was evident to the judges who the top performers were. Jaclyn Baker and defending champion Ariel Khadr, who respectively won silver and bronze medals behind Missy Truscott at the 2022 Olympia, stood out from the rest of the field with their exceptional conditioning. Their impressively defined muscles and thin skin separated them from the other competitors.
