The clip, which features a speech from boxer Caleb Plant, was captioned by O’Neal as “bout to get my game back alll you old dudes that hoop in @24hrfitness @lafitness @lifetimefitness i’m coming for yall.” In the video, the basketball legend can be seen walking over to the equipment with the help of crutches. Once seated, he starts using the arm press while the person filming takes his crutch.

O’Neal is determined to resume his workout routine, saying, “I just had to take a couple weeks off because I had to get this hip surgery, but I’m going to jump back on.” The 51-year-old star is optimistic that he’ll be able to return to the gym soon, and even hinted at the possibility of appearing shirtless on billboards in the near future.
