At just 20 years old, Samantha Eugenie has made waves in the powerlifting world with her remarkable strength. Although her specialty is the deadlift, she is also a force to be reckoned with in other lifts. Recently, she reached an incredible milestone, demonstrating her dominance in the squat.

Samantha shared a video of herself achieving a new personal record (PR) in the squat on her Instagram page. In the video, she can be seen completing a raw 200-kilogram (440.9-pound) squat, using only a lifting belt and knee sleeves.

First Time Crossing the 200-Kilogram Mark

This was the first time that Samantha Eugenie surpassed the 200-kilogram mark in her career, making this a significant achievement for her. Despite her already impressive strength, the accomplishment of the squat PR was a notable milestone in her powerlifting journey.

Impressive Bodyweight Ratio

Samantha Eugenie’s bodyweight at the time of her new squat PR was 69 kilograms (152.1 pounds). This means that her 200-kilogram (440.9-pound) squat was a massive 2.9 times her body weight. Furthermore, Samantha competes in the 69-kilogram weight class, making this a natural feat for her to accomplish.

Powerlifter Samantha Eugenie Sets Sights on Future Goals

Samantha Eugenie, the 20-year-old powerlifting sensation known for her impressive strength, has revealed her next goal: to make the 200-kilogram (440.9-pound) squat a weight she can lift without much difficulty. At the 2023 FFForce Championnats de France Juniors de Force Athlétique, Samantha Eugenie set new personal records (PRs) in all of her lifts. The competition, held in May, saw Samantha achieve a squat of 195 kilograms (429.9 pounds), a bench press of 95 kilograms (209.4 pounds), and a deadlift of 215 kilograms (473.9 pounds).

Samantha’s impressive lifts at the competition have further solidified her reputation as a rising star in the powerlifting world. While it is unclear what specific competition she is preparing for in September, Samantha’s success at the FFForce French Nationals is undoubtedly a positive indicator of her training progress. With five years of powerlifting experience under her belt and numerous competition wins, including the 2022 IPF World Junior Classic Powerlifting Championships, Samantha is a force to be reckoned with in the sport.
