There has been considerable speculation about Sam Sulek’s plans for 2025. However, that uncertainty has now been cleared up. Sulek has officially announced that he will compete this weekend at the 2025 Legends Classic in Las Vegas. This marks a significant first step in his pursuit of a Pro Card. If successful, Sam Sulek could then move on to compete at the 2025 Arnold Amateur.
Moreover, the Legends Classic serves as a national qualifier. Therefore, by placing in the top two, Sulek will earn a spot at the Arnold Amateur in three weeks. Although he cannot earn his Pro Card this weekend, qualifying for the Arnold will put him in a stronger position. Consequently, the upcoming competition is a crucial milestone in his bodybuilding journey.
“The overarching plan is, this is a qualifier show so once I head home, assuming I actually meet those qualifications, that means I get to do the Arnold Amateur. That’s like three weeks away so let’s focus on what’s right in front of us.”
Sam Sulek has quickly risen to prominence as one of the most influential fitness figures in the bodybuilding world. Initially, he became known for his impressive physique at a young age. However, many criticized his methods, particularly his approach to dieting. Recently, though, Sulek made adjustments by cleaning up his diet. He has focused on losing weight, carefully tailoring his calorie intake to reach his goals. As a result, his overall objective is now clear: to step onto the stage and work toward earning his professional bodybuilding status.

Sam Sulek Confirms Weekend Competition in Pursuit of Arnold Amateur Spot

Sam Sulek has been documenting his fitness journey through workout videos and daily meals. Lately, he’s focused on fat loss, shedding weight throughout the winter. However, he recently announced that the cutting phase is over. Now, he aims to maintain his current calorie intake and workout routine.
Moreover, Sulek has no intention of altering his cardio regimen. He plans to continue daily cardio for at least an hour. By the week’s end, he will reevaluate his approach.
“No more winter shredathon. No more just dieting down, this that or the other. It’s show week. It’s debut show week.”

At the beginning of his update, Sulek showed his meal of egg whites and rice cakes. These foods, along with ground turkey and cans of tuna, dominate his fridge during this show week. He’s prioritizing lean proteins to stay on track for his competition debut.
Fans have eagerly awaited Sulek’s stage debut. Finally, that moment is upon them. “I got the posing trunks. I got tanned scheduled. Finally, the long-awaited ‘when is Sam gonna oil up’ can be answered,” he shared.

Sam Sulek Grocery List
Sam Sulek has been focusing on fat loss throughout the winter season. As a result, he’s been adjusting his grocery list to align with these goals. On a recent trip to the store, he shared his haul with fans. Notably, he avoided all sweets and treats, instead choosing items that would aid in his fat-loss journey. To support this, he loaded up on protein sources and healthy options. Below is what he picked up during his trip:
- 5 cans of chicken
- 3 packs of top-round boneless steak
- 5 pounds of lean ground beef
- 2 packs of deli turkey
- 4 containers of eggs
- 1 pack of Kraft cheese slices
- Low-carb bread
- Low-carb tortillas
- Carb-Smart buns
- Light-fat mayo
- Sugar-free ketchup
- Mustard
- Cold brew coffee
“I feel like my grocery trips are so sparse now. If I get a couple pounds of ground beef, a few tubs of egg whites, a couple of protein shakes, not for majority but sometime, it’s a helpful tool. It’s like I’m actually getting groceries at the rate of a normal dude.”
