“I think there is no just in case, I think it’s 100 percent I’m going to get knocked out. This guy is like 400 pounds and he’s the champion of the super heavyweights. I told him don’t hold back. So, when I get knocked out, hopefully, Ryan and some other guys can help me not hit my head on the floor.”
Larry Wheels is proving his versatility across various disciplines, excelling in powerlifting, bodybuilding, and arm wrestling. Now, he’s exploring competitive slap fighting, specifically in the Power Slap league.
The Power Slap league, created by UFC CEO Dana White, has become a prominent arena for slap fighting. MMA fighters, including UFC star Paige VanZant, have transitioned to this sport, where competitors score points based on the force of their open-handed strikes and the opponent’s reaction.

Power Slap Super Heavyweight Champion KnockOut Larry Wheels
Slap fighting has rapidly gained popularity, drawing the interest of fitness influencer Larry Wheels. In a recent YouTube video, Wheels candidly shared his experience of being knocked out by Power Slap champion Layne Viernes.
During the video, Larry Wheels received coaching on mastering the art of professional slapping. He participated in a joint warm-up using resistance bands with Layne Viernes and practiced shadowboxing slaps. Despite attempting his own slap, which the champion easily absorbed, Wheels ultimately took a decisive hit that left him stunned.
Following the impactful blow, Larry Wheels humorously noted that he still had all his teeth intact, showcasing his resilience despite the intense slap he received.
“Got all my teeth still too” Larry said.
Layne Viernes was impressed by Larry Wheels’ handling of the slap and made sure to commend him for it.
“It’s been a fucking honor, Larry. Thank you, bro. You’re good bro, you’re good.”
Wheels was surprised he wasn’t knocked out completely but anticipated feeling the effects of the slap later on.
“Super heavyweight champion just slapped the shit out of me. How I’m still awake is beyond me. I’m going to have a headache after this.”

While slap fighting seems like fun for Larry Wheels, more serious concerns have arisen about the influencer. He recently admitted to a “steroid relapse” and expressed regret, describing bodybuilding as a major mistake.
“Last year, I made a video saying I stopped steroids. And I have as of three months ago, relapsed and gone back on a full steroid cycle.”
“I have faced several challenges with my company PR that led me to go into panic mode and make a decision to pursue bodybuilding in an attempt to bring more eyeballs to what I’m doing and in turn help my brand get back to where it was and even better.”
“Now, that was a massive mistake. That’s not what I should have done to build my brand.”
Even though Larry Wheels isn’t focusing on powerlifting contests, his strength remains prominently showcased. Recently, he achieved a new personal record by completing 32 reps of a 405-pound bench press. Additionally, Wheels hit a personal best on the seated dumbbell shoulder press, managing four reps with a total weight of 400 pounds.
While Larry Wheels contemplates his athletic future, slap fighting could serve as a catalyst for his next steps. Whether he decides to pursue the sport or not, fans will eagerly await his decision and its impact on his journey.
