With the Mr. Olympia competition looming less than three months away, Open Bodybuilding sensation Nick Walker is leaving no stone unturned in his quest for the coveted title. Walker recently provided a peek into his rigorous preparation, sharing a YouTube video detailing his full-day eating plan, which includes six substantial meals.
A Stellar Start: Walker’s Breakthrough in Men’s Open
Walker burst onto the Men’s Open scene with an extraordinary rookie season, securing victories in two consecutive shows—the 2021 New York Pro & Arnold Classic. With his remarkable proportions and iconic ‘tree trunk’ legs, Walker’s debut at his first Mr. Olympia show rode a wave of momentum, earning him an impressive fifth-place finish.
‘The Mutant’: Unleashing His Potential
Known for his ingenuity in the gym, ‘The Mutant’ dedicated 2022 to refining his physique. His focused efforts, particularly on improving his midsection, yielded significant results on the Mr. Olympia stage last December, where Walker secured third place, finishing behind Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan. Despite a subsequent setback at the 2023 Arnold Classic against Samson Dauda, Walker remains undeterred.
The Road to Redemption: Walker’s Resilience
While his loss at the Arnold Classic was a bitter pill to swallow, Walker is adamant about bouncing back stronger. In numerous interviews and podcast appearances, he has identified Choopan as the primary obstacle in his quest for the title. In Walker’s view, the finals are likely to culminate in a face-off between him and Lunsford.
The Fuel for the Fight: Walker’s Six-Meal Diet
With only a few months remaining before the competition, Walker has revealed the six-meal diet that’s the cornerstone of his contest prep. This insight into his regimen underscores Walker’s unwavering dedication and highlights the intense preparation that goes into vying for a title as prestigious as Mr. Olympia.
