Mitchell Hooper has emerged as the winner of the 2023 World’s Strongest Man competition, held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from April 19-23. The event brought together 30 athletes who had demonstrated their strength and abilities throughout the past season. In a bid to determine this year’s strongest contender, the athletes were divided into five groups of six for qualifiers that lasted for two days.

Intense Competition: Athletes Battle It Out for World’s Strongest Man Title in Myrtle Beach

For two days, the athletes completed six events during the qualifying round. The top two performers from each group proceeded to the finals. In the finals, the remaining ten athletes competed in ten events to determine the winner. Despite facing pressure from other top contenders, such as Tom Stoltman and Oleksii Novikov, Mitchell Hooper proved to be the most consistent performer throughout both the qualifying and final rounds.

Hooper’s Stellar Performance Secures World’s Strongest Man Title

After only one point separated the top three performers at the end of day one of the finals, day two was crucial for determining the winner. Mitchell Hooper’s impressive performances on day two, where he won two out of three events, secured his position as the top contender. He then performed exceptionally in the final event, the Atlas Stones, which sealed his victory and earned him the prestigious title of 2023 World’s Strongest Man.
