Missy Truscott, a three-time Fitness Olympia champion, will shift to the Figure division in 2025. Furthermore, this change follows her remarkable return to the Olympia stage in 2024, where she clinched her third Fitness Olympia title. However, despite enduring two torn menisci and a torn ACL during her 2023 performance, Truscott showed remarkable resilience.
Furthermore, her recovery and victory highlighted her determination and focus. Now, as she moves to the Figure division, Truscott faces new challenges. However, her unwavering commitment suggests she will continue pushing toward success.

In addition, Truscott announced the switch to the Figure division on her YouTube channel. Furthermore, she shared the news at the 28:32 mark of the 49-minute video.
Truscott shared her reason for the change: “Fitness wasn’t fun anymore.” She said she’s “Already done everything.”
The Figure division requires a blend of shape, symmetry, and conditioning. However, it lacks the extreme conditioning and size seen in Women’s Bodybuilding or Women’s Physique. Additionally, there is less emphasis on posing and no performance routines.
As a result, Truscott exits the Fitness division with an impressive record of three Olympia championships and two Fitness International titles. Given this, many fans and experts agree that now is the perfect time for her to shift to the Figure division.
In 2025, the Figure division will crown a new Olympia champion. This is because eight-time Olympia winner Cydney Gillon announced her retirement after her final victory at the 2024 Olympia. Consequently, Jessica Reyes Padilla, who has finished second to Gillon in 2022, 2023, and 2024, is seen as the front-runner. Padilla is already qualified for the 2025 Olympia due to her runner-up finish at the 2024 Olympia.
Although Truscott is qualified for life to compete in the Fitness Olympia, her qualification does not extend to other divisions. Therefore, she must either win a pro show in the Figure division or receive a special invite to the 2025 Figure Olympia. The first opportunity to qualify will be at the 2025 Tri-City Pro in Columbus, GA, on April 5.
If Truscott qualifies for the Figure Olympia, she could make history. She would be the first woman and only the second athlete to win the Olympia in two divisions. So far, Derek Lunsford is the only competitor to achieve this, having won the 2023 Mr. Olympia and the 2021 212 Olympia.
