Chandler Bing’s Eating Habits: Revealed

Similar to top-level bodybuilders, MMA athletes rely on their rigorous training and diet to maintain their peak performance. UFC fighter Michael Chandler is no exception to this rule, and he understands the crucial role that nutrition plays in enhancing his abilities in the octagon. In a recent interview, the lightweight contender shared some insights into his diet regimen, shedding light on the foods that he eats to stay on top of his game.

Chandler’s commitment to nutrition is evident from the contents of his fridge, which he keeps stocked with a range of meats and vegetables. The fighter revealed that he always has ground elk, ground beef, free-range eggs, salmon, and a variety of vegetables like spinach, broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, peppers, and beets. Additionally, he consumes MegaFit meals during his training camp to ensure that he maintains a balanced and healthy diet.

As a professional athlete, Chandler is mindful of his diet even when he indulges in cheat meals. He admitted to enjoying pizza from time to time, but he maintains a generally healthy diet to ensure that he performs at his best. In the interview, he also spoke about the supplements that are integral to his nutrition plan. He takes multivitamins, micronutrients, minerals, and electrolytes several times a day, especially in the morning. Chandler also recommends drinking electrolytes in cold water before coffee to kickstart the day.

Chandler’s morning routine is equally health-conscious, as he starts his day with a protein-rich breakfast. Although he admits that he is not a big breakfast person, when he does eat breakfast, he opts for four to six eggs scrambled with vegetables and perhaps some bacon with coconut sriracha. He also loves carbonated and bubbly waters, zero-sugar monsters, kombucha, dark chocolate, and cold-brew coffee, which he believes are essential supplements to his diet.

Examining Chandler’s Training Routine

Preparation for a big fight in mixed martial arts requires intense training, and Michael Chandler is leaving no stone unturned in his preparation to face Conor McGregor. The UFC lightweight contender is determined to make a statement in this highly anticipated clash and is ramping up his training regimen accordingly.

To prepare for his bout with McGregor, Chandler is pushing himself to the limit with his training routine. He is focused on developing the strength and skills necessary to defeat his opponent and has designed a rigorous schedule to achieve his goals. Chandler trains in MMA every single day, with specific activities scheduled for different days of the week. His training routine includes strength and conditioning exercises, individual MMA training, and workouts focused on building strength and power through lifting weights.

Chandler’s training routine is built around the principle that strength plus speed equals power. His workouts consist of lifting weights, followed by explosive movements to create power. As a mature lifter, Chandler has shifted his focus to functional movements that are fast, powerful, and explosive. Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of using a roller every day to stay limber and avoid injury.
