Jeffrey Adler Wins 2023 CrossFit Open for Rx’d Men Worldwide with Only 108 Points; Mallory O’Brien Secures Second Consecutive Victory in Rx’d Women’s Category:
After much anticipation, the results of the 2023 CrossFit Open have been announced. Jeffrey Adler, hailing from Canada, emerged as the worldwide champion for the Rx’d men’s category, achieving an impressive score of only 108 points in the four tests that were part of Workouts 23.1, 23.2, and 23.3. His score was 112 points fewer than Tola Morakinyo, who secured the second spot. It’s worth noting that in CrossFit, a lower point total signifies a higher rank.
Meanwhile, on the Rx’d women’s side, Mallory O’Brien, who was the runner-up at the 2022 CrossFit Games, successfully defended her title as the worldwide Open winner for the second consecutive year. She earned a score of 115 points across the four tests, which was 21 points lower than her closest competitor, Paige Powers.
