Liam Hemsworth rebuilt his frame with a push–pull–legs program workout for The Witcher season 4. Additionally, his push days focused on chest, delts, and triceps. Moreover, his coach Mark Humphreys prioritized intensity and focus. Finally, the work aimed to add size without losing mobility for fight scenes.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth trained around long days of sword work and stunt choreography. Next, Humphreys kept sessions short and purposeful. Furthermore, he added extra arm and delt work when filming allowed. Consequently, every rep served the screen performance.

“Liam’s schedule was incredibly demanding with all the stunt training, sword fighting and choreography.”

“Hard and heavy, no phones, no distractions.”

Liam Hemsworth Push Workout for The Witcher Season 4

Push-Day Workout Table

Exercise Sets Reps Notes
Chest Press Machine 1–2 warm-up + 2 working 10–12 Controlled heavy pressing for power
High-to-Low Cable Fly 3 10–12 Low-pec emphasis for camera shape
Dumbbell Lateral Raise 2 straight + 1 drop 10–15 Delt fullness and width
Lying (Cuffed) Y Raise 2 10–12 (slow) Rear-delt and scapular stability
Tricep Pushdown 3 + rest-pause 12–15 Volume for arm density
Overhead Rope Extension 2 AMRAP Failure sets to finish

Exercise-by-Exercise Notes

Hemsworth began with the Chest Press Machine. Additionally, he used one or two warm-ups and two working sets of 10–12. Moreover, the machine offered joint control during stunt weeks. Consequently, it produced pressing power with lower injury risk.

Next, he did High-to-Low Cable Flyes for three sets of 10–12. Furthermore, the angle built lower-chest density. Moreover, it helped craft the silhouette needed under armor.

Then, he trained shoulders with Dumbbell Lateral Raises. Additionally, he performed two straight sets and a drop set for 10–15 reps. Furthermore, this work widened the shoulder line for an imposing screen presence.

Afterward, Hemsworth performed Lying (Cuffed) Y Raises for two slow sets of 10–12. Moreover, the movement strengthened rear delts. Additionally, it improved shoulder stability for sword swings and stunt impacts.

Next, he hit triceps with Tricep Pushdowns: three sets of 12–15 plus a rest-pause set. Furthermore, the volume increased arm density. Consequently, it supported heavy presses and on-camera striking.

Finally, he finished with Overhead Rope Extensions for two AMRAP sets to failure. Moreover, these capped training with maximal triceps fatigue. Additionally, they built endurance for long filming days.

Additionally, Hemsworth balanced hypertrophy with function. Furthermore, his coach prioritized mobility for fight scenes. Moreover, they limited distractions and kept tempo brisk. Consequently, the program delivered size that still allowed screen movement.

Moreover, Hemsworth faced injury risk during prep. Additionally, his team monitored recovery and adjusted loads. Furthermore, they used machines and cables to control mechanics when stunts demanded it. Therefore, the plan stayed practical under production constraints.
