It is a somber day in the world of bodybuilding. We report the untimely death of Kevin Gebhardt. According to various media outlets, Mr. Kevin Gebhardt died at the tender age of 31. As of this writing, the cause of his death remains unknown.

Additionally, Kevin Gebhardt’s passion for bodybuilding began when he was just 14 years old. Inspired by his uncle, he quickly fell in love with weightlifting. From those early days, it was clear he had found his calling in the sport.

Moreover, Mr. Gebhardt’s competitive journey started with the NABBA and the NAC. There, he honed his skills and built his reputation. Also, he later competed in the DBFV, further establishing himself as a formidable athlete.

His hard work culminated in earning his IFBB Pro Card in 2018. He won the EVLS Prague Pro Qualifier. With his Pro Card in hand, Mr. Gebhardt made a successful debut on the professional bodybuilding stage.

His rise in the sport was marked by impressive performances. He garnered respect and admiration from peers and fans. He was seen as a rising star with immense potential.

In addition to his accomplishments on stage, Kevin Gebhardt sought to make a lasting impact off the stage. He connected with renowned coaches like Milos Sarcev. Mr. Gebhardt’s interactions with influential figures underscored his commitment to excellence.

In recent years, Mr. Gebhardt embraced the role of a coach and trainer. He shared his knowledge and passion with aspiring athletes. The bodybuilding community mourns the loss of a gifted athlete and mentor.

IFBB Pro Bodybuilder and Coach Kevin Gebhardt Died at 31

Considering the sparse number of high-profile German bodybuilders in the IFBB Pro League, this news is a shock. Not only his fans but also those who followed his career closely in Germany are mourning. In his last Instagram post in late April, the bodybuilder updated fans on an operation to repair a torn tendon.

In his last IFBB Pro appearances, Kevin Gebhardt took 10th at the 2021 Yamamoto Cup Pro. He then placed outside of the top 15 at the Romania Muscle Fest Pro, won by Rafael Brandao. Testing himself against the best in the Men’s Open class, Gebhardt’s passion for competing was evident. He continued to help shape other athletes for bodybuilding shows.

Boasting over 10,000 followers on Instagram, Gebhardt became a highly sought-after coach. His contributions to the sport of bodybuilding won’t soon be forgotten. He joins a list of fallen athletes who have met their fate unexpectedly recently. Deepak Gupta, one year older than Gebhardt, shockingly died inside a gym after fainting.

Fellow fitness coach and bodybuilder Xisco Serra met his demise recently as well. The Spanish bodybuilding star passed away at 50 after battling a skin cancer diagnosis.  However, despite suspicions often surrounding the use of performance-enhancing drugs when a bodybuilder passes away, the cause of Kevin Gebhardt’s untimely death remains uncertain.
