John Haack, a multiple-time world record holder, has set a new training personal record. He is preparing for the 2025 ABS Clash of Titans III event, scheduled for April 19, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland. So far, Haack has achieved impressive lifts during his training, including a 395-kilogram deadlift and a 227.5-kilogram bench press. Recently, Haack reached a significant milestone in his squats training as he lifted a massive 367.5 kilograms, or 810 pounds. This new personal best marks a major achievement in his preparation for the upcoming event.
For the squat, Haack wore knee sleeves and wrist wraps for added support. After securing his lifting belt, he unracked the heavy weight. He then took two steps to stabilize himself and began his descent into the squat.
Upon reaching the bottom, Haack powered through the difficult portion of the lift. He grinded his way back to a standing position before carefully racking the barbell. Two spotters ensured his safety during the lift, providing an extra layer of security.
