Jeremy Buendia has confirmed he will compete at the 2025 Sasquatch Pro this weekend. This marks his first show outside of Olympia since 2014.
Next, the four-time Men’s Physique Olympia champion wants to use this event as a test. He plans to sharpen his conditioning just weeks before stepping on the biggest stage in bodybuilding.
Then, Buendia explained that the decision came after talks with judges. They suggested that competing three weeks out could give him a major edge in timing his peak.
Finally, he views this as a high-stakes opportunity. Either it strengthens his momentum or it shows him where adjustments must be made before Mr. Olympia.

Jeremy Buendia to Compete This Weekend at 2025 Sasquatch Pro
“I am competing this weekend in Seattle at the Sasquatch Pro. It’s the first time I’ve registered for a show outside of the Olympia since 2014.”
“I’ve been locked in and focused on the Olympia. A couple of judges put it in my head about doing the Sasquatch before Olympia, it being three weeks out, and how it might be a good idea to get onstage. It was a thought at first; the Olympia has always been the goal.”
“This is either going to make me or it’s going to break me. I’m really putting it all on the line three weeks out from the Olympia. If I were to win this show, it’s going to make a statement. It’s going to put a reminder in everybody’s mind that I am the four-time champion, the one and only four-time champion and I’ve only gotten better since my last title.”
Buendia dominated Men’s Physique from 2014 to 2017. He built his reputation defeating names like Sadik Hadzovic, Brandon Hendrickson, and Ryan Terry.
Next, after returning to the stage in 2023, he placed eighth at Olympia. Since then, he skipped the Arnold Classic to focus on refining his package.
Finally, Buendia now wants to showcase improvements on the Sasquatch Pro stage. He sees this as both a warm-up and a statement ahead of Olympia.

Expectations & Stakes
Sasquatch Pro will act as a final trial. It gives him a chance to test his physique against a stacked lineup.
Next, feedback from the judges will help him perfect his Olympia prep. Every detail—dryness, fullness, posing—must be timed correctly.
Finally, winning Sasquatch would build massive momentum. Even if he falls short, the experience will still sharpen him for Olympia night.
