Jay Cutler, a former professional bodybuilder, is known for keeping up with the latest developments in the world of bodybuilding. Recently, he shared his insights on the 2023 Arnold Classic, which took place in Columbus. The event was the most highly anticipated bodybuilding competition in recent times.

The Arnold Classic, which concluded just 10 days ago, was won by Samson Dauda, who took home the top prize. The organizers decided to increase the prize purse to $300,000, which attracted a number of top-level competitors to enter. Among them was Nick Walker, who finished third at the Olympia and was a favorite to win the Arnold Classic.

Despite being a favorite, Walker failed to win the Arnold Classic. Instead, it was Samson Dauda who put on a well-balanced performance and was crowned champion. However, some people criticized the judges’ decision following the show. Jay Cutler also shared his views on the matter, weighing in on the judges’ decision and offering his own insights on the competition.

Jay Cutler Believed Nick Walker Could Have Won the 2023 Arnold Classic

On the JayCutlerTV YouTube channel, Jay Cutler shared his thoughts on the judges’ decision at the 2023 Arnold Classic. According to Cutler, the top three competitors were all very close in terms of their performance, and he had predicted Nick Walker to win. Although Walker didn’t come out on top, Cutler acknowledged his incredible physique and believes he could have won the competition.

In the aftermath of the Arnold Classic, Nick Walker shared an Instagram story asking fans not to attack the judges or other competitors. Walker also explained that he wasn’t initially interested in competing in the Arnold Classic, but decided to enter once the prize money was raised and he was asked to participate. Despite his loss, many believe that Walker’s continuous improvement could make him a strong contender at the upcoming Olympia competition.

Jay Cutler spoke highly of Nick Walker’s potential and ongoing progress as a bodybuilder. While he acknowledged that Walker was the favorite to win the Arnold Classic, he also recognized the incredible physique of the eventual champion, Samson Dauda. Cutler noted that Walker missed out on a significant prize money payout, but could use the experience as motivation to improve even further in future competitions.

In a discussion, Jay Cutler talked about the rise of taller bodybuilders, including Dauda and Andrew Jacked, who finished third in a recent show. Cutler praised Jacked’s performance and also discussed areas where he could improve.

“During the show, Andrew didn’t have the same ‘wow’ factor that he had in earlier competitions. He was in great condition, but standing next to those guys was a different lineup. You can’t just say, ‘I got past so-and-so at the Olympia, so now I’m in this position’.”

Jay Cutler is still striving to improve his own physique by working out regularly, while keeping up with the active competitors in bodybuilding shows. Although the Arnold Classic results were somewhat unexpected, it has heightened the anticipation for the upcoming Olympia later this year.

At the end, Jay Cutler, a former professional bodybuilder, recently shared his views on the 2023 Arnold Classic, which concluded 10 days ago in Columbus. The event, which had a prize purse of $300,000, was won by Samson Dauda, while Nick Walker, a favorite to win, finished third. Cutler offered his own insights on the competition, including his opinion on the judges’ decision and the performance of the competitors. Some people criticized the judges’ decision following the show.
