WSM 2023 to Feature Classic Events with Details to be Revealed Soon
The WSM organization has not disclosed the weight of implements or the precise format of each event for the upcoming 2023 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) competition. However, it is expected that classic events, such as the Stone Off, will remain in the competition’s lineup. In the Stone Off, the second and third-place finishers from each Qualifying Round group battle it out in an Atlas Stones contest for a chance to qualify for the Finals.

The 2023 WSM will mark the last competitive appearance of Brian Shaw, a four-time champion, and Mark Felix, who has been participating in the competition since 2004. With their imminent departure, the strongman community is gearing up to bid farewell to these two legends of the sport.
