At the 2023 APF Asian Classic Powerlifting Championships in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, held from December 11-18, Farhanna Farid, representing Singapore in the 52-kilogram weight class, secured her legacy with a groundbreaking 208-kilogram (458.6-pound) Raw Deadlift IPF World Record.

During the 2023 APF Asian Championships, Farhanna Farid initiated her impressive deadlift session. Additionally, she started with an easy pull of 190 kilograms (418.9 pounds). Advancing further, her second attempt at 203.5 kilograms (448.6 pounds) surpassed the existing U52KG IPF World Record.

Undoubtedly, Farhanna Farid raised the stakes on her third and final attempt. Moreover, effortlessly lifting 208 kilograms (458.6 pounds), she set a new IPF World Record. Strikingly, with only a lifting belt, she confidently approached the platform, assumed her sumo stance, grabbed the bar with a mixed grip, and smoothly lifted the weight.

Furthermore, the previous U52KG IPF World Record, set at 203 kilograms (447.5 pounds), was also held by Farhanna Farid. She achieved this feat just six months earlier at the 2023 IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championships.
