Eddie Hall, the 2017 World’s Strongest Man, defeated strongman legend Mariusz Pudzianowski by technical MMA knockout on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The fight took place at Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW)’s KSW 105 event, held at PreZero Arena Gliwice in Gliwice, Poland.
Initially, the fight was scheduled for two four-minute rounds. However, Hall wasted no time, finishing the bout in just 30 seconds. Consequently, his dominant performance shocked the crowd and delivered a swift victory.
Despite Pudzianowski’s five-time World’s Strongest Man title, he was quickly overpowered. Clearly, Hall’s strikes were too much for Pudzianowski to handle, showcasing his strength and precision. Thus, Hall’s performance proved his potential in the MMA world.
Finally, fans can catch the entire fight on Hall’s Instagram reel. Given his commanding win, the excitement surrounding his future in MMA is only intensifying.

After the fighters touched gloves, Pudzianowski swung wildly at Hall, landing a heavy blow to his back. This gave Hall an opening to close the distance and pressure Pudzianowski against the cage. As a result, Hall stayed on the attack, swinging for a quick finish.
Then, Pudzianowski attempted a takedown, but Hall swiftly tossed him across the cage. Consequently, Hall took top position and landed several powerful punches.
Next, Pudzianowski rolled onto his stomach to protect himself, but some of Hall’s punches connected with the back of his head. Afterward, the referee warned Hall, who then adjusted and aimed his strikes toward Pudzianowski’s face.
Finally, Pudzianowski could do little but cover up, unable to respond with any offense. Thus, the referee stepped in to stop the fight.
In addition, Hall entered the cage with a 30-kilogram weight advantage, weighing in at 151 kilograms compared to Pudzianowski’s 121. Moreover, Hall was 11 years younger than his opponent, at 37 years old.
Despite Pudzianowski’s vast MMA experience, with a record of 17 wins, nine losses, and one no-contest, this was his first fight since June 2023. Therefore, his record now stands at 17-10-1. On the other hand, Hall is undefeated with a 1-0 record in MMA.
When he was on the floor, I was hammer fisting. My apologies, my first fight; I hit him once or twice in the back of the head and heard the ref shout at me.

Finally, some fans raised concerns about the punches to the back of the head. In response, Hall reportedly apologized to Pudzianowski privately and addressed the issue in a post-fight interview, which is available on his Facebook page.
Looking Ahead
Initially, Hall shared that he might have injured his right hand during the fight, though he was uncertain about the extent of the damage. Previously, Hall had competed and won in a two-on-one exhibition bout, but that match did not count toward his official record. Looking ahead, Hall expressed interest in fighting again in the future.
In addition, this wasn’t Hall’s first encounter with a fellow World’s Strongest Man winner. Notably, he and 2018 champion Hafthor Bjornsson famously squared off in a boxing match to settle a feud that had lasted several years. Ultimately, Bjornsson won the fight by unanimous decision.
