As a result, he quickly adapted to his new environment, excelling both academically and athletically. Israetel credits this success to the strong discipline and work ethic instilled by his upbringing. These foundational values, which shaped his character, played a crucial role in his future career.

In addition to his academic prowess, Israetel is also a highly skilled athlete. He holds a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, earned under Josh Vogel, and has competed at a high level. Furthermore, his achievements in bodybuilding and powerlifting are impressive, with titles such as the Arnold Classic and IPF World Championships under his belt. For those pressed for time, Israetel emphasizes the importance of incorporating compound exercises and supersets. This approach enables efficient workouts in as little as 30 minutes, ensuring significant gains in muscle and strength. Below is an outline of how Dr. Israetel maximizes his workout efficiency:

  • Warm-up: Three minutes on the treadmill to prepare the body for the workout ahead. Studies show that warm-ups improve performance during major exercises.

  • Load: He uses moderate weights to ensure proper form while maximizing muscle engagement.

  • Reps: The rep range is between 10 to 20, promoting muscle growth while preventing overtraining.

  • Exercise Selection: A mix of bodyweight exercises, free weights, and cables to target different muscle groups effectively.

Tuesday — Lower Body Day

On Tuesdays, Israetel switches to lower body exercises, focusing on compound movements to target multiple muscle groups:

  • Triset: Dumbbell Reverse Lunge, Dumbbell Single-Leg Calf Raise, Seated Leg Curl
    This three-way superset targets the quads, hamstrings, and calves. The reverse lunge works the quads and glutes, while the single-leg calf raise isolates the calves, and the seated leg curl works the hamstrings.

Wednesday — Upper Body Day
