Denise Herber Demonstrates Incredible Strength with 275kg Raw Deadlift PR

Denise Herber, the renowned powerlifter from Germany, has once again impressed with her incredible strength and determination. In a recent Instagram post on March 11, 2023, Herber shared a video clip of herself effortlessly pulling off a 275-kilogram (606.2-pound) raw deadlift during a training session.

According to Herber’s post, this impressive feat was a personal record (PR) for her, showcasing her ongoing progress and dedication to her craft. The deadlift was executed with a sumo stance and mixed grip, and although it’s unclear if she was wearing a lifting belt, it’s possible it was concealed under her shirt, as she had no other equipment on for the achievement.

Herber’s impressive display of strength is a testament to her commitment to pushing herself to new heights and setting new records. It’s no wonder that she has set her sights on pursuing a world record, as she continues to demonstrate her ability to lift staggering amounts of weight with ease.

Denise Herber Sets Sights on World Record at Upcoming XPC European Championship

Denise Herber’s recent raw deadlift PR of 275kg is not only an impressive personal achievement but also a sign of things to come. In a recent Instagram post, Herber revealed her intention to attempt the all-time raw world record in the 75-kilogram weight class, which currently belongs to Kristy Hawkins at 277.5 kilograms.

Herber plans to attempt at least 278 kilograms at the upcoming Extreme Powerlifting Coalition (XPC) European Championship in Siedlce, Poland, on March 26, 2023. This ambitious goal demonstrates Herber’s unwavering commitment to her sport and her willingness to push herself to new heights.

While Herber has never recorded a raw competition squat or total, her all-time competition bests indicate that she is a formidable athlete. It will be exciting to see her attempt the world record and witness her ongoing progression as a powerlifter.

Denise Herber’s Best Competition Lifts

  • Squat (W/Wraps) — 254.9 kilograms (562.1 pounds)
  • Bench Press (Raw) — 130 kilograms (286.6 pounds)
  • Deadlift (Raw) — 269.9 kilograms (595.2 pounds)
  • Total (W/Wraps) — 655 kilograms (1,444 pounds)

Denise Herber has been a dominant force in powerlifting competitions, having won eight out of ten contests since March 2019, and securing first place in her last five appearances. Her most recent victory was at the 2022 WRPF Ghost Clash 2 competition.

Denise Herber’s raw deadlift strength is a clear demonstration of her incredible power. Her recent deadlift of over 600 pounds is evidence of her exceptional ability, regardless of her weight class or competitive history. For Herber, setting the raw deadlift world record would be another expected display of her unique prowess and dedication to her sport.
