Brian Shaw Unveils 2025 Strongest Man on Earth Event Lineup

Strongman legend Brian Shaw has steadily revealed key details about the 2025 Strongest Man on Earth. Back in January, he laid out the criteria needed to qualify. That announcement narrowed the field and finalized the list of competitors. The build-up has continued since.

Now, Shaw has shared the events themselves. On Tuesday, he posted a YouTube video revealing the full lineup. The announcement confirmed eight events in total. They will test every aspect of strength, speed, and endurance.

Clearly, Shaw is aiming for balance. Each event brings a different challenge. Some focus on brute power. Others demand athleticism, grip, or technical skill.

Altogether, the 2025 Strongest Man on Earth is coming into focus. The format is set. The athletes are locked in. And now, the stage is ready for a brutal showdown.

“The goal is for these events to be well though out and to be a true test of overall strength to find out who truly is the strongest man on earth.”

The 2025 Strongest Man on Earth will take place from Aug. 16–17 in Loveland, Colorado. Next, Brian Shaw plans to make it one of the toughest shows in the world. Then, each event will target a different weakness to expose incomplete athletes. After that, Shaw will evaluate performances across the entire year, not just on competition day. Finally, the title will go to someone who’s proven themselves through consistent excellence, not just one lucky performance.

2025 Strongest Man on Earth Events

This year’s competition will feature eight events:

Max Log Press
Standing Chest Press
Side-Handle Deadlift
Frame Carry Into Seated Arm-Over-Arm Medley
Super Yoke
Manhood Stones
Max Weight Keg Toss
Tire Flip Power Stairs Medley

Only two events return from last year’s competition:

Manhood Stones
Max Weight Keg Toss

The Side-Handle Deadlift is a new addition. Competitors will lift using a neutral grip with a custom frame designed specifically for this event.

These events are designed to push athletes’ strength, endurance, and technique to the limit in a challenging lineup.

Brian Shaw did not reveal weights for every event. However, he confirmed the heaviest Manhood Stones will weigh 600 pounds. Similarly, the Super Yoke will use a custom setup featuring heavy safes. Finally, the exact order of events remains unannounced.

2025 Strongest Man on Earth Lineup

The reigning champion, Mitchell Hooper, leads a field of 16 elite athletes returning to compete for the title. So far, the first eight competitors have been announced. The remaining eight will be revealed at a later date.
