Jacked Identifies Areas for Improvement Following Third-Place Finish at 2023 Arnold Classic
Written By Tahir MalikAfter finishing in eighth place at his debut appearance in the 2022 Mr. Olympia competition, many expected big things from Chinedu Andrew Obiekea, aka “Andrew Jacked,” at the 2023 Arnold Classic. This year, the relative rookie in his second year as an International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) pro bodybuilder delivered, earning himself a third-place podium finish. Despite missing out on the top two spots, Jacked is looking forward and remains focused on his future in the sport.
Like his fellow competitor Nick Walker, who took second place to the winner Samson Dauda, Jacked isn’t dwelling on what could have been. Instead, he is looking ahead and striving for continued success. On March 5, 2023, Jacked took to Instagram to reflect on his performance at the Arnold Classic, sharing a heartfelt post that offered a glimpse into his mindset as a rising star in the world of professional bodybuilding.
In his Instagram post, Jacked revealed his personal reflections on his performance at the Arnold Classic. Among the highlights of his reflections was his acceptance of the earned result, acknowledging that he had given his all and achieved the outcome that he deserved. With a focus on continued improvement and growth, this talented athlete is poised to achieve even greater success in the future.
Jacked’s contentment with his AC result is appropriate given his impressive rise to prominence. He has won the 2022 Texas Pro and 2022 Arnold Classic UK contests, demonstrating his elite mass and strong commitment to nutrition. It appears that Jacked is continuously improving at a remarkable pace.
Jacked’s evaluation of the 2023 AC is fitting as he only fell short of two athletes and finished ahead of established superstars like Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay, Shaun Clarida, and William Bonac. With this in mind, the best could truly be ahead for Jacked.
Jacked expressed his satisfaction with his performance at the 2023 AC in a heartfelt message. He was awesome and tighter in prejudging but slacked a bit in the finals, ultimately deserving the third-place finish. After 366 consecutive days of contest-focused preparations, he is taking a break and thanking his coaches, Chris “Psycho” Lewis and Chris Aceto, for their amazing six-week camp prep. He is confident that he will come back fresher, stronger, prettier, classier, and better than ever before.
Bodybuilding seems to be in a state of flux, with established champions like Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay losing their mantle. The outcome of significant contests is no longer predictable, and new competitors like Jacked are rising to prominence. Given his recent progress, Jacked could potentially become a formidable competitor in the future.
