The Wellness division was one of the highlights of the weekend’s multiple bodybuilding competitions, including the 2023 Musclecontest Rio Pro. Athletes from various locations gathered in Rio de Janeiro with hopes of securing a spot in the 2023 Olympia. Ultimately, Renata Guaraciaba emerged as the champion.
Guaraciaba will make her return to the Olympia stage after six years, having previously competed in the Figure division. She transitioned to Wellness in 2020 and has been actively participating in different competitions. In 2022, she finished as the runner-up at the Argentina Sur Cup Pro and placed fourth in the Musclecontest Rio Pro. However, she made significant improvements that helped her claim the top spot.
Wellness division has gained popularity over the years and has been featured in major bodybuilding events such as the Arnold Classic and Olympia. Its continued growth is expected to take a step forward in 2023. Adams, who has qualified for the Olympia after winning the Musclecontest Rio Pro, will be among the athletes on this journey.
