Event One — Bus Pull

The competition opened with the Bus Pull, where athletes had to drag an 18,000-kilogram (39,683-pound) bus across a 25-meter course within a 60-second time limit. The event tested leg drive, conditioning, and pulling power.

Right away, Patrick Eibel established himself as a serious title contender. He completed the course in 37.63 seconds and became the only athlete to finish in under 40 seconds.

Meanwhile, Mika Törrö secured second place with a strong run of 42.09 seconds. Behind him, Evans Nana narrowly edged Colten Sloan in one of the closest battles of the event. Nana finished in 44.57 seconds, just 0.15 seconds ahead of Sloan.

Additionally, Jesper Hansson rounded out the top five, while Péter Juhász remained within striking distance in sixth. Damir Stroil also completed the course successfully to earn valuable points.

Event Two — Log Lift

Next came the Log Lift, where competitors attempted as many repetitions as possible with a 150-kilogram (330.7-pound) log within 60 seconds.

Unlike the opening event, the Log Lift dramatically reshuffled the leaderboard. In fact, half of the field failed to register a successful repetition.

Colten Sloan delivered one of the most impressive performances of the entire competition. He locked out six repetitions to claim a convincing event victory and move himself into podium contention.

Meanwhile, Péter Juhász completed five repetitions to secure second place. Evans Nana and Walid Hammoud tied for third after both successfully pressed the log three times.

Additionally, Albin Hasanović recorded two repetitions, while Patrick Eibel managed a crucial single rep to limit the damage. On the other hand, Mika Törrö, Jesper Hansson, Damir Stroil, Kevin Hazeleger, Hristo Muskov, and Kovács Ferenc all failed to record a lift.

Event Three — Farmer’s Walk for Time

At the midway point of the competition, athletes faced the Farmer’s Walk. Competitors carried 140 kilograms (308.6 pounds) in each hand over a 50-meter course.

As expected, Evans Nana showcased his trademark explosiveness and speed. He stormed through the course in 29.13 seconds and became the only athlete to break the 30-second barrier.

Consequently, Nana moved into contention for the overall lead. Meanwhile, Péter Juhász and Patrick Eibel produced one of the closest races of the day. Juhász claimed second place in 34.03 seconds, while Eibel finished just 0.47 seconds behind him.

Furthermore, Jesper Hansson and Mika Törrö rounded out the top five. Damir Stroil completed 45 meters, while Colten Sloan managed 40.5 meters before time expired.

Event Four — Hercules Hold

The penultimate event featured the Hercules Hold, one of Strongman’s most iconic tests of grip strength. Athletes stood between two vehicles and attempted to hold them in place for as long as possible.

As the championship battle intensified, Patrick Eibel delivered perhaps his most important performance of the day. He held on for 44.84 seconds to claim the event victory and regain the overall lead.

Meanwhile, Mika Törrö came remarkably close to winning, finishing just over two seconds behind Eibel. Jesper Hansson secured third place after holding on for 42.64 seconds.

Additionally, Péter Juhász and Evans Nana both posted strong performances to keep themselves in the podium battle. Damir Stroil, Colten Sloan, and Walid Hammoud all surpassed 31 seconds in another tightly contested event.

Event Five — Super Yoke

Everything came down to the final event, the Super Yoke. Athletes carried a 400-kilogram (881.8-pound) yoke for 30 meters, including a drop and turn at the halfway point.

Heading into the event, Patrick Eibel held a narrow advantage over Evans Nana. As a result, every second mattered.

Knowing he needed maximum points, Nana delivered under pressure and won the event in 29.87 seconds. His performance temporarily put enormous pressure on Eibel.

However, Eibel responded perfectly. He crossed the line in 29.94 seconds to finish second and secure enough points to win the overall title.

Meanwhile, Péter Juhász finished third and officially locked up his podium position. Colten Sloan and Jesper Hansson completed the top five.

Most importantly, had Eibel finished lower than second, Evans Nana would have claimed the overall championship.
