The 2026 Strongman Champions League (SCL) Czech Republic took place on May 30 in Liberec, Czech Republic, bringing together 12 elite international strongmen for a fast-paced but brutally intense competition. Despite featuring only three events, the contest demanded maximum output in both overhead pressing and deadlifting strength.

Furthermore, athletes were pushed into a high-pressure format where every single rep and kilogram carried major weight toward the final standings. With no room for recovery across multiple disciplines, consistency became the deciding factor in the overall battle.

Additionally, the event showcased some of the strongest static athletes on the SCL circuit, including multiple international finalists and established podium contenders. The competition quickly turned into a head-to-head battle between a handful of elite performers.

Ultimately, Ukraine’s Oleh Pylypiak delivered a flawless performance, winning all three events and finishing just one point shy of a perfect score. His dominance secured him the overall gold medal in commanding fashion.

2026 SCL Czech Republic Results

The Czech Republic stop on the 2026 Strongman Champions League calendar featured a compact but extremely demanding format. Unlike traditional multi-day strongman shows, this contest tested athletes in just three explosive events.

Furthermore, the competition emphasized maximal strength rather than endurance-based medleys, placing athletes in pure strength battles from start to finish. Each event contributed heavily to the final leaderboard.

Additionally, Liberec hosted a strong international lineup featuring veterans, rising talents, and established European competitors all chasing SCL ranking points.

Event One — Max Log Lift

The competition began with the Max Log Lift, where athletes were given multiple attempts to establish their heaviest successful overhead press. The event immediately created separation between the top contenders and the rest of the field.

Furthermore, Oleh Pylypiak and Patrik Zelezka both delivered outstanding lifts, successfully pressing 205 kilograms (451.9 pounds) to share first place. Their performances set the tone for the rest of the contest.

Additionally, Evans Nana Aryee secured third place with a massive 185-kilogram lift, while Graham Hicks and Jan Lacina rounded out the top five in a tightly contested opening event.

The second event shifted focus to maximal pulling strength with the Max Deadlift, where athletes attempted some of the heaviest lifts in the competition. The leaderboard tightened as several athletes pushed past the 400-kilogram mark.

Furthermore, Oleh Pylypiak delivered the standout performance of the event by pulling 455 kilograms (1,003.1 pounds), becoming the only athlete to surpass the 1,000-pound barrier. His lift secured another event win.

Additionally, Graham Hicks took second place with 450 kilograms, while Evans Nana Aryee continued his consistency streak with 445 kilograms for third place.

Furthermore, Oleh Pylypiak once again tied for first place with Evans Nana Aryee after both athletes recorded 11 repetitions. This result sealed Pylypiak’s overall victory.

Additionally, Adam Roszkowski secured third place with 10 repetitions, while Patrick Eibel and Štěpán Bystřinec completed the top five.
