The 2026 Giants Live Strongman Classic delivered one of the most competitive strongman lineups of the year in London, England 🇬🇧. The competition featured a mix of World’s Strongest Man veterans, European champions, and rising international athletes all fighting for the title. From the opening moments, it was clear that consistency would matter just as much as individual event wins.

Secondly, the contest structure tested every major aspect of strongman performance, including overhead pressing, grip endurance, raw deadlift strength, and explosive stone loading. Because of this balanced format, no single athlete could rely on one specialty to win the show. Instead, athletes needed to perform across all five events to stay in contention.

Thirdly, early momentum quickly formed around Ondřej Fojtů 🇨🇿, who immediately established himself as a serious title contender. His speed and control in the opening events gave him an early advantage over the field. However, behind him, several athletes including Paddy Haynes 🇬🇧, Rayno Nel 🇿🇦, and Pavlo Kordiyaka 🇺🇦 remained within striking distance.

Finally, as the competition progressed, the leaderboard continued to shift due to event-specific specialists scoring big points in individual disciplines. Despite this, Fojtů’s ability to consistently place near the top of each event allowed him to maintain control. Ultimately, the competition built toward a dramatic final Atlas Stones showdown to decide the winner.

Event One — Overhead Medley opens with brutal pressing under pressure 💪

Athletes were immediately tested with a demanding overhead medley featuring five heavy implements, including circus bells and dumbbells up to 150 kg. The 60-second time limit forced competitors to balance speed, technique, and raw pressing power under extreme fatigue. As a result, only the most efficient lifters were able to complete the full series.

Secondly, Ondřej Fojtů 🇨🇿 and Pavlo Kordiyaka 🇺🇦 stood out as the only athletes to successfully complete all five lifts. However, Fojtů delivered a faster run at 41.87 seconds, which secured him the opening event victory and early overall lead. This performance immediately placed him in a strong position at the top of the standings.

Finally, the rest of the field was forced to settle for partial completions, with Evan Singleton 🇺🇸 leading the group of four-rep finishers. Meanwhile, experienced athletes like Mitchell Hooper 🇨🇦 and Andrew Flynn 🇬🇧 remained competitive but lost valuable points early. Consequently, the opening event already created an important separation in the leaderboard.

Event One Results 🏆

Rank Athlete Country Result
🏆 1 Ondřej Fojtů 🇨🇿 Czech Republic 5 in 41.87 s
2 Pavlo Kordiyaka 🇺🇦 Ukraine 5 in 50.65 s
3 Evan Singleton 🇺🇸 USA 4 in 33.50 s
4 Andrew Flynn 🇬🇧 UK 4 in 37.77 s
5 Mitchell Hooper 🇨🇦 Canada 4 in 37.84 s
6 Josh Patacca 🇦🇺 Australia 4 in 39.86 s
7 Nick Guardione 🇺🇸 USA 4 in 40.23 s
8 Martins Licis 🇱🇻 Latvia 4 in 45.63 s
9 Paddy Haynes 🇬🇧 UK 3 in 28.95 s
10 Rayno Nel 🇿🇦 South Africa 2 in 13.42 s
11 Adam Bishop 🇬🇧 UK 2 in 26.29 s
12 Mathew Ragg 🇳🇿 New Zealand 2 in 49.65 s

Event Two — Webster Stones reward endurance and balance 🪨

The second event shifted the focus toward grip strength and carrying endurance with uneven Webster Stones weighing over 100 kg each. Athletes were required to cover maximum distance while maintaining balance under increasing fatigue. Because of the awkward loading, even minor mistakes led to early drops.

Secondly, Ondřej Fojtů 🇨🇿 once again dominated the field with a best distance of 43.4 meters, securing his second consecutive event win. His control and pacing allowed him to outperform every other athlete despite the heavy grip demand. As a result, he further extended his overall lead.

Finally, Rayno Nel 🇿🇦 produced a strong response with 40.4 meters, while Pavlo Kordiyaka 🇺🇦 and Mitchell Hooper 🇨🇦 tied closely behind at 40 meters. Meanwhile, several athletes began falling further behind in the standings. Therefore, the gap between Fojtů and the chasing pack continued to grow.

Event Two Results 🏆

Rank Athlete Country Result
🏆 1 Ondřej Fojtů 🇨🇿 Czech Republic 43.4 m
2 Rayno Nel 🇿🇦 South Africa 40.4 m
3 Pavlo Kordiyaka 🇺🇦 Ukraine 40.0 m
3 Mitchell Hooper 🇨🇦 Canada 40.0 m
5 Evan Singleton 🇺🇸 USA 37.8 m
6 Mathew Ragg 🇳🇿 New Zealand 31.54 m
7 Martins Licis 🇱🇻 Latvia 30.65 m
8 Paddy Haynes 🇬🇧 UK 30.55 m
9 Adam Bishop 🇬🇧 UK 30.5 m
10 Josh Patacca 🇦🇺 Australia 24.18 m
11 Nick Guardione 🇺🇸 USA 14.82 m
12 Andrew Flynn 🇬🇧 UK 10 m

Event Three — Deadlift reshapes the leaderboard ⚡

The third event introduced a heavy 360 kg axle bar deadlift for maximum repetitions within 50 seconds. Because of the thick bar design, grip strength became a limiting factor for many athletes. As a result, performance varied significantly across the field.

Secondly, Rayno Nel 🇿🇦 and Paddy Haynes 🇬🇧 delivered dominant performances with nine repetitions each, tying for the event win. This significantly tightened the overall standings and applied pressure on Fojtů. However, Fojtů remained consistent with seven controlled repetitions.

Finally, several athletes struggled heavily, including Evan Singleton 🇺🇸 and Mitchell Hooper 🇨🇦, who failed to register any lifts. Meanwhile, Martins Licis 🇱🇻 matched Fojtů with seven reps, keeping himself in contention. Consequently, the competition remained open heading into the final two events.

Event Three Results 🏆

Rank Athlete Country Result
🏆 1 Rayno Nel 🇿🇦 South Africa 9 reps
🏆 1 Paddy Haynes 🇬🇧 UK 9 reps
3 Ondřej Fojtů 🇨🇿 Czech Republic 7 reps
3 Martins Licis 🇱🇻 Latvia 7 reps
5 Mathew Ragg 🇳🇿 New Zealand 6 reps
5 Adam Bishop 🇬🇧 UK 6 reps
7 Pavlo Kordiyaka 🇺🇦 Ukraine 5 reps
7 Andrew Flynn 🇬🇧 UK 5 reps
9 Josh Patacca 🇦🇺 Australia 4 reps
10 Nick Guardione 🇺🇸 USA 3 reps
— Evan Singleton 🇺🇸 USA No Lift
— Mitchell Hooper 🇨🇦 Canada No Lift

Event Four — Conan’s Wheel decides podium battle 🔥

The Conan’s Wheel challenged athletes with extreme rotational endurance under a 200 kg load. Because fatigue had already accumulated from three prior events, pacing became critical. As a result, small differences in endurance created large point swings.

Secondly, Paddy Haynes 🇬🇧 delivered a record-breaking performance of 1106°, winning the event convincingly. This massive result pushed him firmly into podium contention and applied pressure on all top contenders. Meanwhile, Kordiyaka 🇺🇦 also performed strongly with 877°.

Finally, Fojtů 🇨🇿 managed a controlled 722°, which, while not a winning score, was enough to maintain his overall lead. At the same time, several athletes began fading from contention due to accumulated fatigue. Therefore, the final event became a direct fight for the title.

Event Four Results 🏆

Rank Athlete Country Result
🏆 1 Paddy Haynes 🇬🇧 UK 1106°
2 Pavlo Kordiyaka 🇺🇦 Ukraine 877°
3 Andrew Flynn 🇬🇧 UK 770°
4 Rayno Nel 🇿🇦 South Africa 755°
5 Ondřej Fojtů 🇨🇿 Czech Republic 722°
6 Nick Guardione 🇺🇸 USA 630°
7 Martins Licis 🇱🇻 Latvia 626°
8 Josh Patacca 🇦🇺 Australia 593°
9 Mathew Ragg 🇳🇿 New Zealand 517°
10 Adam Bishop 🇬🇧 UK 486°
— Evan Singleton 🇺🇸 USA Withdrew
— Mitchell Hooper 🇨🇦 Canada Withdrew

Event Five — Atlas Stones deliver dramatic finish 🏆

The final Atlas Stones event tested explosive strength and endurance with five stones ranging up to 200 kg. Because fatigue was at its peak, execution speed became the deciding factor. As a result, margins between athletes were extremely small.

Secondly, Paddy Haynes 🇬🇧 narrowly defeated Martins Licis 🇱🇻 by just 0.07 seconds in one of the closest finishes in recent Giants Live history. Rayno Nel 🇿🇦 also secured a strong third-place finish, keeping the podium battle intense until the final moments.

Finally, Ondřej Fojtů 🇨🇿 completed the series in 28.72 seconds, and although not winning the final event, his cumulative consistency across all five events secured him the overall championship 🏆. Therefore, he was crowned the 2026 Giants Live Strongman Classic winner.

Event Five Results 🏆

Rank Athlete Country Result
🏆 1 Paddy Haynes 🇬🇧 UK 5 in 22.21 s
2 Martins Licis 🇱🇻 Latvia 5 in 22.29 s
3 Rayno Nel 🇿🇦 South Africa 5 in 24.23 s
