2026 Arnold Classic to Award Record $750K in Men’s Open Division
Arnold Schwarzenegger announced the total prize purse for the 2026 Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio. The sum will reach $1.5 million across all categories. This marks his 50th anniversary as a bodybuilding promoter.
Moreover, this decade has become the most profitable in professional bodybuilding history. Schwarzenegger has raised the Arnold Classic prize money four times since 2020. The purse grew from $130,000 to $200,000, then $300,000 in 2023, and $500,000 in 2025.
Meanwhile, the Olympia Weekend promoters increased the Men’s Open champion’s prize from $400,000 to $600,000 in 2024. They awarded over $2 million across 11 pro divisions. Many fans see this as a race toward the first $1 million bodybuilding contest.
Finally, the 2025 Olympia will take place Oct. 9-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Sandow Trophy winner is expected to earn at least as much as in 2024, though no formal announcement exists yet.
