2025 World’s Strongest Man Finals Official Roster

The Qualifying Stage now affects more than just who advances to the Final. Each athlete’s performance during qualifying was scored to determine their ranking heading into the Final. As a result, Mitchell Hooper leads with 10 points, followed closely by Tom Stoltman with nine points.

This ranking brings a significant edge called the “Leader’s Advantage.” Athletes competing later in each event can see the scores or times they need to beat. For instance, if the top deadlift reps are eight, the leader knows pulling nine reps will secure victory. This knowledge allows them to conserve energy and plan their efforts.

When Hooper won the 2023 WSM, he held the lead throughout the Final. He told BarBend that the “Leader’s Advantage” was worth about six points. He ultimately finished 4.5 points ahead of Tom Stoltman, showing just how impactful this advantage can be.
