The 212 Bodybuilding division returned to center stage at the 2025 World of Monsterzym Korea Pro, held on July 12 in Gyeonggi, South Korea. This contest brought together some of the most compact, conditioned physiques in the IFBB Pro League.
Therefore, with only one qualification spot available for the 2025 Olympia, the stakes were high. Athletes from across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East gathered to fight for the win. Among them, 🇴🇲 Mazin Al Rahbi delivered the most complete package.
Ultimately, Al Rahbi stood out with balanced proportions, dense muscle, and sharp conditioning. As a result, he walked away with the gold medal—and a ticket to the Olympia stage this October in Las Vegas.
2025 World of Monsterzym Korea Pro – Men’s 212 Results
This year’s Korea Pro lineup featured a strong showing from local South Korean athletes. Four of the top ten competitors were from the host nation, including Soohyun Park, who placed fourth with tight conditioning and solid posing. His back shots in particular earned crowd reactions during comparisons.
Equally important, Youngsoo Park and Sung Il Ryu rounded out the fifth and sixth spots, both bringing density and good balance. While they missed qualification, they proved capable of matching international talent and may return stronger later in the season.
Elsewhere, Jiandong Zhu of 🇭🇰 Hong Kong and 🇨🇳 Yufan Zhang of China added to the show’s international flavor. With growing depth in Asian bodybuilding circuits, the Korea Pro continues to serve as a proving ground for Olympia hopefuls in the 212 division.

Top 3 Athletes – Winners of the 212 Division
🥇 Mazin Al Rahbi – 🇴🇲 Oman
Mazin Al Rahbi delivered the most complete package of the evening. He displayed sharp conditioning, full muscle bellies, and balanced symmetry from every angle. His posing was confident and well-controlled, allowing his strengths to shine in each mandatory pose.
From the start of prejudging, Al Rahbi occupied the center spot during callouts. Judges kept returning to him in comparisons, particularly for his back double biceps and side chest shots. His dense lower body and tapering V-frame gave him a clear edge over the field.
In the end, Al Rahbi’s overall polish and structure proved too strong to beat. This victory earned him not only the Korea Pro title but also a qualification for the 2025 Olympia 212 in Las Vegas. He will now prepare to face the world’s best on bodybuilding’s biggest stage.
🥈 Muzi Maluleke – 🇿🇦 South Africa
Muzi Maluleke brought power and size to the stage, standing out with his thick chest, round shoulders, and wide lats. His presence was undeniable the moment he stepped into the lineup. Compared to earlier this season, he looked fuller and more confident than ever.
During comparisons, Maluleke was frequently rotated next to Al Rahbi, particularly in side and front poses. His muscle density gave him an edge in some poses, but his conditioning lacked the deep cuts and separation needed to secure first place. Still, the judges clearly saw him as a top contender.
This second-place finish reinforces Maluleke’s growing reputation in the 212 division. He’s close to Olympia qualification and will likely compete again in the coming weeks. If he dials in his conditioning, he’ll be a threat to win in any lineup he enters.
🥉 Piotr Borecki – 🇵🇱 Poland
Piotr Borecki impressed the panel with his classic shape and consistent conditioning. Known for his clean lines and symmetry, he brought a well-prepared physique that held up well next to the top two finishers. His abs and thigh shot in particular stood out.
Throughout prejudging, Borecki remained in the first callout and was placed next to both Al Rahbi and Maluleke in several comparisons. He matched them in flow and polish but lacked the density in some back poses. That may have cost him a point or two on the final scorecards.
Still, a third-place finish in a lineup this deep is no small feat. Borecki continues to show he’s among Europe’s best in the 212 division. With more time and a few refinements, he could easily grab a win and earn his ticket to the Olympia.
