The 2025 World of Monsterzym Korea Pro will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Gyeonggi State, South Korea. This IFBB Pro League event features the 212 Bodybuilding division. It includes 16 athletes from eight different nations.
Importantly, the winner of this event will receive an automatic qualification to the 2025 212 Olympia. That competition will be held during the 61st Olympia Weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Oct. 9–12, 2025. With the clock ticking, this contest is one of the last chances for athletes to punch their ticket to bodybuilding’s biggest stage.
Indeed, the 212 division demands muscularity, symmetry, and conditioning—all within the 212-pound weight limit. While former champion Burat Sologub won’t be returning to defend his title, the door is wide open for a new star to rise.

Athletes to Watch
🇵🇱 Piotr Borecki
To begin, Piotr Borecki returns to the Korea Pro with experience and momentum. He has graced the Olympia stage three times, including in both Classic Physique and 212 Bodybuilding. Notably, his most recent Olympia appearance came in 2023, where he placed 15th in the 212 division.
Earlier this year, Borecki competed at the 2025 Kokeny Classic Hungary Pro. There, he finished in second place, just short of a qualification. As a result, that performance has positioned him as one of the clear frontrunners heading into Korea.
Because of his track record and ability to peak at the right time, Borecki remains a top contender. Many believe this is his event to lose.

🇴🇲 Mazin Al Rahbi
Meanwhile, Mazin Al Rahbi will make his return to the stage for the first time since the 2023 Saudi Arabia Pro. At that show, he placed second behind former Olympia runner-up Ahmad Ashkanani. Significantly, his solid silver finish there earned him qualification to the 2023 Olympia, though he ultimately did not compete.
Now, Al Rahbi comes into Korea looking to fulfill his potential and earn a trip to Las Vegas. His blend of fullness and symmetry makes him a dark horse in this lineup. So far, his physique updates have drawn attention across the community.
With another podium-worthy performance, Al Rahbi could secure his first-ever Olympia appearance. He is definitely one to watch on Saturday.

🇰🇷 Soohyun Park
At the same time, Soohyun Park is one of South Korea’s top 212 competitors. He finished in second place at this very show one year ago. Now, he’s back with a vengeance and aiming to take home the gold.
Since last year, Park has made steady improvements in both conditioning and posing. His home-crowd advantage and experience on this stage could give him the edge. With Burat Sologub not in the lineup, Park’s path to victory is clearer than ever.
If he nails his peak, Park could very well leave Gyeonggi with his first pro win and a ticket to the Olympia. Without question, his journey will be a storyline to follow this weekend.

Additionally, another chance to qualify for the 2025 212 Olympia will occur at the Euro Muscle Show. That event takes place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from July 12–13, 2025. Many eyes will be on both events as competitors race to secure their Olympia spots.
