Kai Wang emerged as the winner of the 2025 World of Monsterzym Korea Classic Physique Pro. Specifically, the contest took place on May 17 in Gyeonggi State, South Korea. Overall, it marked one of the quieter stops on the IFBB calendar.
In fact, only four competitors stepped on stage. As a result, it became the smallest Classic Physique lineup of the 2025 season. Nevertheless, Wang’s performance stood out with clarity and control.
Consequently, the victory earned Wang a spot at the 2025 Classic Physique Olympia. According to the schedule, that contest will take place from October 9 to 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Looking ahead, Wang will now prepare to face the world’s best on bodybuilding’s biggest stage. Meanwhile, the Olympia qualification season continues to unfold.

Winner — Kai Wang
To start, Kai Wang secured a perfect score from the judging panel, led by head judge Becky Clawson. In fact, this marked his first professional win and Olympia qualification. Notably, he is in just his second full season as a pro.
From here, Wang can either rest until Olympia or continue competing. In doing so, he could block others from qualifying. Importantly, even if he competes and loses, his qualification remains secure.

Second Place — Sanghoon Yeon
Meanwhile, Sanghoon Yeon impressed in his pro debut. Specifically, he earned his pro card by winning the overall Men’s Bodybuilding title at the NPC Worldwide Korea Open Regionals 2. That contest was held on the same weekend and at the same venue.
Immediately after, he stepped into this Classic Physique lineup and placed second. Although Wang was the clear winner, Yeon’s strong debut suggests he may become a threat at future shows this season.
Third Place — Kakhyun Kim
At the same time, Kakhyun Kim placed third in his second show of the year. Previously, he finished ninth at the 2025 China DMS Pro.
Now, Kim has until September 14, 2025, to win a pro show. If he succeeds, he will also earn a spot at the Olympia.
Looking Ahead
Elsewhere, two other major contests took place that same weekend. German Pastor won the 2025 Musclecontest Bullman Pro in Dublin, Ireland, and also qualified for the Olympia.
Additionally, Terrence Ruffin claimed victory at the 2025 New York Pro. However, he had already qualified earlier in the season.

Kai Wang won the 2025 World of Monsterzym Korea Classic Physique Pro on May 17 in Gyeonggi State, South Korea.
