Phil Niu claimed victory at the 2025 Utah Cup Pro. The show took place on Saturday, April 5, in Holladay, Utah. Furthermore, it featured 13 Classic Physique athletes from the IFBB Pro League. Although the field was competitive, Niu separated himself early. In the end, his conditioning and stage presence proved too strong for the rest.
Additionally, Niu’s performance stood out from the moment he walked on stage. Moreover, his physique looked fuller and more refined than in previous outings. As a result, judges quickly placed him at center stage. Meanwhile, Brock Jenkins fought hard for second, but he could not match Niu’s detail or balance.
Furthermore, Luc Andre Steinker rounded out the top three. Also, he brought impressive structure and poise, yet still fell short of the top two. With this win, Niu officially qualifies for the 2025 Classic Physique Olympia. Therefore, his victory not only boosts his status—it also blocks others from claiming that Olympia spot.

Phil Niu
Phil Niu delivered another commanding performance in Utah. Moreover, already qualified for the 2025 Classic Physique Olympia, he entered the show without pressure. Even so, he dominated the lineup.
Previously, Niu earned his qualification by winning the 2025 Fitworld Pro. As a result, his appearance at the Utah Cup Pro was more about momentum than necessity. Still, he left no doubt about his standing in the division.
Furthermore, with this victory, Niu blocked all other contenders from earning Olympia qualification. According to IFBB Pro League rules, only unqualified winners can advance. Therefore, Niu’s win effectively shut out the rest of the lineup.

Brock Jenkins
Brock Jenkins showed visible improvements compared to his last outing. Furthermore, at the 2025 Detroit Pro just one week earlier, he placed ninth. This time, his conditioning was tighter and more refined.
Specifically, Jenkins appeared leaner with less subcutaneous water under the skin. As a result, his muscle definition was more pronounced. Lastly, these changes helped him earn the runner-up spot.
Nevertheless, second place wasn’t enough. Because only winners advance to the Olympia, Jenkins must return to the stage again. To qualify, he now needs a first-place finish before the cutoff.
Luc Andre Steinker
Luc Andre Steinker made a big leap forward in Utah. Previously, he finished sixth at the 2025 Fitworld Pro. This time, he improved to third, earning his first top-three finish as a pro.
The German athlete impressed the judges with his improved balance and stage presence. Accordingly, he received unanimous third-place votes. This result marked a major milestone in his early career.
While the podium finish boosts his profile, it doesn’t secure qualification. Like Jenkins, he must win a show to reach Olympia. Even so, his rise in the ranks is worth watching.
Other Competitions:
Elsewhere this weekend, another Classic Physique contest took place. Moreover, the 2025 Tri-City Classic Pro unfolded alongside the Utah Cup Pro. Furthermore, this added another opportunity for athletes to qualify.
Also, Eric Abelon seized that opportunity. Notably, he won the show and earned his 2025 Olympia qualification. For Abelon, this marked a breakthrough win.
Now, he joins the growing list of qualified competitors heading to Las Vegas. Lastly, as the season continues, the Olympia lineup becomes increasingly stacked. However, each contest now carries even more weight.
