The 2025 Taiwan Pro 2 took place from July 18 to 20 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This event marked an important stop on the IFBB Pro League calendar, offering Olympia qualifications for two popular divisions: Men’s Physique and Bikini. With the 2025 Olympia scheduled for October in Las Vegas, this was a critical opportunity for athletes to punch their tickets.

Next, the contest featured 27 pro competitors from around the world. Countries represented included Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, and more. The judging panel evaluated athletes on physique balance, symmetry, conditioning, and stage presence, and delivered tight scorecards across both categories.

Finally, Shun Kaneko of Japan won the Men’s Physique division and claimed his second career Olympia qualification. Meanwhile, South Korea’s Ji Bin Park earned gold in the Bikini division and qualified for her fourth Bikini Olympia appearance. Both athletes dominated with perfect scores and took home gold medals.

Men’s Physique

Place Athlete Country Flag Qualified
🥇 1st Shun Kaneko Japan 🇯🇵 ✅
2nd Karym Saripada Philippines 🇵🇭
3rd Joohyeob Han South Korea 🇰🇷
4th Takumi Ishikawa Japan 🇯🇵
5th Majid Alessa Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
6th Dilip Kumar India 🇮🇳
7th Hong Son Vietnam 🇻🇳
8th Isaac Tse Hong Kong 🇭🇰
9th Yujin Lee South Korea 🇰🇷
10th Eun Chong Choi South Korea 🇰🇷

Shun Kaneko returned to the stage with significant improvements from his last outing at the 2025 Body Be 1 Classic Pro, where he placed fifth. This time, he presented a tighter midsection, improved muscle separation, and a more confident stage demeanor. His proportions helped create the classic V-taper required for the division.

Then, Kaneko’s polished posing, broad shoulders, and crisp transitions helped set him apart from the pack. Judges rewarded his structure and conditioning with a perfect score. The final callouts left no doubt — Kaneko led from start to finish and took home the clear win.

Lastly, this victory qualifies him for the 2025 Men’s Physique Olympia. He last competed on the Olympia stage in 2022, where he tied for 16th place. Now with experience and improved conditioning, Kaneko aims for a much stronger showing this October in Las Vegas.

Ji Bin Park brought experience and poise to the Bikini stage. Her structure, balance, and confident posing gave her a significant edge. This was her second straight win at the Taiwan Pro, making her one of the most consistent competitors in the region.

Next, Park’s improvements in muscle tone, glute-ham tie-ins, and overall conditioning stood out under the stage lights. She showcased a complete package from every angle, leaving little room for debate. The judging panel awarded her another perfect score.

Finally, this win marked her fourth career qualification for the Bikini Olympia. Park has already competed in the 2021, 2022, and 2023 editions. As she prepares for Las Vegas, she’ll bring valuable stage experience and a refined look that could challenge the top ten this fall.

Other Events

The third Taiwan Pro of the 2025 season has already been scheduled. It will take place on December 5–7 and serve as one of the earliest qualifiers for the 2026 Olympia. Athletes looking for an early start to next season will target that show.

Then, several local athletes from Taiwan stood out during this edition. Una Fu and Anita Chen both cracked the top eight in Bikini, while Yinghsuan Chen held strong at seventh. Their performances demonstrated that Taiwan continues to develop as a serious presence in pro Bikini competition.

Lastly, the IFBB Pro League Asia circuit is far from over. Upcoming shows across China, Japan, and South Korea will give additional opportunities for Olympia hopefuls. These events also help grow the sport in regions that are rapidly building their bodybuilding communities.
