Event Four — Viking Press

Patrick Eibel surged to the front in the Viking Press, knocking out an impressive 17 repetitions. His pressing power allowed him to dominate the overhead challenge, and the win kept him firmly in the fight for the podium.

Wesley Derwinsky stayed close with 16 reps, using strong lockouts and rhythm to keep pace. Nick Wortham followed in third with 15, a result that maintained his consistency near the top of the table. The trio showed that upper-body endurance could be just as decisive as brute strength.

The Viking Press also caused key shifts in the standings. Athletes who struggled overhead dropped valuable points, while those with strong shoulders gained ground. The result underlined the importance of versatility across events, as even the best deadlifters or movers had to handle pressing to remain competitive.

Event Five — Truck Pull

Tristain Hoath reclaimed control of the competition with a blistering performance in the Truck Pull. His ability to generate explosive leg drive and maintain momentum separated him from the rest of the field. The victory also proved crucial in his eventual tie with Wortham for the title.

For Hoath, fifth place in the Yoke Carry meant he lost a few points but managed to keep the gap manageable. With the Stones still to come, he knew the title was within reach. The event created the perfect stage for a dramatic finale.

Event Seven — Atlas Stones

The Atlas Stones once again served as the ultimate decider. Tristain Hoath loaded all five stones in just over 21 seconds, earning the final event win of the contest. That performance clinched the tiebreaker and sealed his championship victory.

Nick Wortham delivered another outstanding run but fell short by less than two seconds. His second place in the Stones reflected his resilience and all-around strength, but the narrow miss left him runner-up on countback.

Wesley Derwinsky rounded out the podium with a smooth series of lifts. His consistent presence near the top of every event made him one of the most reliable athletes of the weekend and confirmed his third-place finish overall.
