2025 Strongman Champions League Serbia Results

The 2025 Strongman Champions League (SCL) Serbia took place on May 24 in Zrenjanin, Serbia. Notably, 12 athletes from 11 different nations competed for the title. Among them, Albin Hasanović proudly represented the host country. As expected, the competition drew strong performances from some of the sport’s most reliable names.

Throughout the day, athletes battled through five grueling events: Truck Pull, Viking Press, Farmer’s Walk, Car Deadlift, and Loading Race. At each stage, points shuffled as competitors fought for every possible advantage. By mid-contest, it was clear that the margin for error was razor-thin. In particular, speed and efficiency became critical in the final two events.

The 2025 Strongman Champions League Serbia featured elite strength athletes from 11 nations. Altogether, 12 men clashed across five brutal events, battling for points and pride. Representing the host nation, Albin Hasanović carried Serbia’s hopes.

In the end, Ghana’s Evans Nana Aryee emerged victorious with 49.5 points. However, he shared that total with Latvia’s Aivars Šmaukstelis. Aryee’s narrow win came via tiebreaker, finishing the Loading Race just 0.26 seconds faster than Šmaukstelis. This marked Aryee’s third SCL title of the season.

Meanwhile, Hungary’s Péter Juhász secured the bronze with 41.5 points. Serbia’s Hasanović impressed with a strong fourth-place finish. The field included a mix of veterans and newcomers, all chasing podium finishes.

2025 Strongman Champions League Serbia Events Results

Truck Pull

The opening event challenged athletes to drag a massive truck over a 20-meter course. Each competitor had 60 seconds to complete the pull. While the fastest time won, any forward progress counted.

Notably, USA’s Shawn Schellenger posted the best time at 33.47 seconds. Germany’s Dennis Kohlruss followed closely at 33.35 seconds, just milliseconds behind. Serbia’s own Albin Hasanović took third, drawing cheers from the local crowd.

Some struggled to finish the course. Turkey’s Yagizcan Gözkara managed only 3.1 meters. Even seasoned athletes found the first event taxing, setting a brutal tone for the contest.

Viking Press

Next came the Viking Press, where lifters had 60 seconds to press 160 kilograms for maximum reps. The overhead strength test proved decisive for many.

Latvia’s Šmaukstelis dominated with 12 clean reps. Three men—Juhász, Hasanović, and Invernizzi—tied for second with nine repetitions each. Aryee, though not the strongest here, did enough to stay close in points.

Not everyone could keep pace. Turkey’s Gözkara failed to register a lift. Bosnia’s Stroil managed just two reps in a grinding performance.

Farmer’s Walk

The third event tested grip, balance, and speed. Athletes carried 140 kilograms over a 40-meter course, racing the clock. Those who dropped the weight early were measured by distance.

Aryee returned to form, sprinting the full course in just 16.98 seconds. Šmaukstelis again followed closely, finishing in 18.77 seconds. Hazeleger rounded out the top three, showcasing rare speed for his size.

Others faltered, including Serbia’s Hasanović, who dropped the implements at 31.6 meters. Gözkara and Kovács fell far short of the finish, exposing their fatigue.

Car Deadlift

Each athlete had 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible of a 360-kilogram car deadlift. It was a raw test of lower body and back strength.

Aryee again topped the field with 12 repetitions. Šmaukstelis and Flowers tied for second with 10 reps each. Invernizzi also impressed, adding nine reps to his total.

Some contenders, like Kovács, couldn’t manage a lift. For others, including Hazeleger and Kohlruss, every rep was a battle for placement.

Loading Race

The final event came down to the Loading Race. Athletes hauled three objects weighing 120, 140, and 160 kilograms across a course. The fastest man would claim crucial points.

Aryee won the event with a time of 22.50 seconds. Šmaukstelis nearly stole the win at 22.76 seconds. But that narrow gap secured Aryee the tiebreaker and the title.

Meanwhile, Gözkara managed only two implements in the allotted time. Though exhausted, every athlete finished strong in front of an energized Serbian crowd.
