In the Men’s Physique division, Chao Peng emerged as the clear winner. Notably, his conditioning and stage presence set him apart from the rest. Meanwhile, judges awarded the Bikini title to Wenjun Duan.

Chao Peng secured his second career win at the 2025 Huanji China Pro. Then, he delivered a perfect score in the only scoring round — pre-judging. Previously, his last win came at the 2022 Flex Pro.

Next, Peng’s performance showed remarkable control and conditioning. Clearly, the judges favored his symmetry and stage presence. As a result, he earned a clean victory over a deep lineup.

Finally, Peng has yet to appear at the Olympia. Therefore, if he accepts the qualification, the 2025 Men’s Physique Olympia will mark his debut on bodybuilding’s biggest stage.

Wenjun Duan returned to the stage for the first time since the 2024 Bikini Olympia. At that contest, she placed outside the top 15. This time, she bounced back with a perfect score and a decisive win.

Next, her routine highlighted refined conditioning and improved presentation. Then, the judges rewarded her efforts with the top spot. Notably, this win marks her second career victory in as many seasons.

Finally, China completed a clean sweep of the podium. Mengru Zhang earned silver, while Sasa He claimed bronze. Clearly, the host nation dominated the Bikini division in Shanghai.

What’s Next for China’s Bodybuilding Scene

Looking ahead, the next major bodybuilding event in China will be the 2025 China DMS Jiangyin Pro. On May 11, it will take place in Jiangyin. At that show, both Men’s Physique and Classic Physique athletes will compete.

Furthermore, this contest is expected to attract more international athletes. With Olympia qualifications on the line, the stakes will be high. As a result, fans will be watching closely.
