The 2025 Germany’s Strongest Man took place on September 20 in Steinmauern, Germany. Twelve of the nation’s top strongmen competed in a rigorous contest spanning seven demanding events. The competition used a low-point scoring system, where athletes earned one point for first place and twelve for last. The goal was simple but challenging: accumulate the fewest points overall.

Next, Dennis Kohlruss delivered an exceptional performance. He won two events, placed second in four, and only had one tenth-place finish. His consistent performance in the Carry & Drag, Hercules Hold, and Atlas Stones established a clear lead. Each of his lifts and carries demonstrated a rare combination of strength, endurance, and technique.

Moreover, Dennis Schäfer and Albin Hasanovic pushed Kohlruss throughout the competition. Schäfer earned second place with 31 points, showing explosive power in the Medley and Log Lift. Hasanovic finished third at 37 points, demonstrating excellent consistency and speed, especially in the Carry & Drag and Atlas Stones. Their efforts made the competition intense and closely watched by fans.

Finally, the contest highlighted more than just raw strength. Each event required a careful balance of power, timing, and strategy. Athletes had to manage energy across all seven events, making every second and every lift critical. Kohlruss’s ability to excel across all challenges set him apart from the field, solidifying his legacy in German strongman history.

Next, Hasanovic matched Kohlruss’s top lift but struggled slightly with form, ultimately finishing second. Schäfer performed solidly at 140 kg but could not surpass the top two. The event served as an early indicator of who could dominate the heavier strength-based challenges.
