As the 2025 CrossFit Games season moves forward, the field is quickly taking shape. So far, 42 of the 60 individual athletes have punched their ticket to Albany. In other words, 70 percent of the roster is already secured.

At the same time, the In-Affiliate Semifinals leaderboard is finalized. Because of that, fans now have a clearer view of who’s advancing. Meanwhile, five of the 10 In-Person Qualifying Events (IPQEs) have already wrapped.

Previously, the path to the Games was straightforward. Back then, athletes advanced from the Open to Quarterfinals, then to Semifinals, and finally to the Games. Now, that structure is gone.

Instead, the process is more complex. First, athletes compete in the Open. Then, they face select IPQEs. Next, they move to Online Semifinals. After that, more IPQEs follow. Finally, the Last Chance Qualifier offers one more route to the Games.

Still, many fans are left with questions. For example, who’s already in? Also, who looks the strongest? Most importantly, what should we expect next? To help, we’ve broken it all down below—so you can catch up fast.
