Rosemont, Illinois welcomed the 2025 Chicago Pro with classic Midwestern enthusiasm. The 212 division took center stage on July 18–19, drawing significant attention from fans and judges alike. With the Men’s Open division absent, this class stood out among the strongest on the lineup.

Then, it became clear that a new name was about to make headlines. Frankie Mercado delivered a performance that shifted the tone of the evening. While Bo Lewis and Dwayne Quamina were seen as frontrunners, Mercado’s condition and stage presence proved decisive.

Finally, Mercado’s win not only gave him his first pro victory—it earned him a ticket to the 2025 Olympia. With over a dozen athletes on stage, this contest revealed emerging threats, fading veterans, and a new direction for the 212 landscape.

Kate Carroll impressed the judges with a sharper, leaner physique compared to her previous outings. Her effort earned her the Bikini gold and secured her second Olympia qualification. Carroll’s tanning and stage presence were especially praised.

On the other hand, Savannah Dolezal and Marie-Eve Duchesneau took the silver and bronze, respectively. Both showed promising physiques but fell just short of overtaking Carroll’s peak condition. The Bikini division remains one of the most dynamic and fast-evolving categories in the sport.

Furthermore, the diverse field of competitors—from New Zealand to Poland—reflected the global appeal of Bikini. Carroll’s victory at Chicago sends a clear message that she is a serious contender to watch in the upcoming Olympia weekend.
