On July 19, 2025, York, England, became the battleground for one of the premier events in strength sports. The 2025 Britain’s Strongest Woman contest brought together a dozen elite athletes from four countries. Each came ready to endure five punishing events in one demanding day.
Throughout the competition, the athletes tackled Deadlift Ladder, Shield Carry, Super Yoke, Log Lift, and Sandbag Medley. These events measured not only raw power but also grip endurance, mobility, and composure under pressure. Each event tested a different aspect of the athlete’s preparedness.
Ultimately, 🇬🇧 Lucy Underdown delivered a commanding performance, securing 53 points. 🏴 Rebecca Roberts followed with 47 points, and 🇬🇧 Naomi Hadley clinched third with 45. Their efforts highlighted the growing depth and competitiveness in women’s strongman events across Britain and beyond.
